My daughter Madeline suggested that my first blog entry be about a Big Alien.
The Big Alien we have this week in our house is the flu. Poor Maddie has an icky flu bug. It started with pukes & poops and now it's fever and aches.
When I asked Maddie how having the flu is like a Big Alien, she said that the flu virus comes from outer space too where it is dark and cold.
I hope our visitor blasts back off and leaves us before the other two small humanoids are affected. Thanks for checking out my blog. Annie, thanks for the inspiration to start documenting my life!

YESSSSS!!! I'm so happy you decided to start blogging - it's like a public diary! You'll be able to look back in 10 years and remember when Maddie called the flu a big alien! Love it!!
